Roads Information - Spring Street Sweeping

The post-winter cleanup of sand will begin on Town streets as of April 22, 2013 and will continue until the first week of May. The street sweeping operation will consist of mechanical sweepers and water trucks where required, accompanied by Town staff.
Curbed streets within the Town of Fort Erie will be swept.
This sweeping will be conducted in daytime hours with the exception of business districts as detailed below. If you see the sweeping operation in your area, please remove vehicles parked on the roadway. Caregivers and school staff are asked to ensure that children stay clear of this operation.
Business districts will be swept in the early morning hours during the week of April 22nd. People are asked to refrain from overnight parking on curbed streets in these business areas during this week.
Prior to the sweepers coming through (where sand is still visible on the roadway), property owners are encouraged to sweep sidewalks and driveways onto the road.
