With over 120 hectares of parkland, 33 parks, 45 kilometers of recreation and nature trails, kilometers of waterfront parks and access points, playgrounds and splash pads, sports fields, conservation areas, a concrete skatepark and a dog park, Fort Erie offers opportunities to suit every recreation and leisure need.
Parks and Open Space Development is responsible for managing the long term development of Fort Erie's neighbourhood, community and town parks, recreational trail system, urban development and beautification programs with a focus on economic and social benefits, and environmental stewardship. Parks and Cemetery Services is responsible for day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Town's parks, sports fields, trails, waterfronts, urban forests, and cemeteries. Contacts in this Division include:
