As a follow up to our precautionary Drinking Water Advisory of May 27, 2011, we are pleased to advise that we have received confirmation through our water quality monitoring activities that our distribution system continues to deliver safe potable water.
Field testing for turbidity and free available chlorine as well as laboratory submission and testing of duplicate sets of microbiological sample collections has yielded results that meet all regulatory parameter requirements for the distribution and supply of drinking water.
The Local Office of the Public Health Department has been consulted and they have supported our efforts and actions in this precautionary exercise.
We ask that you resume all normal water consumption activities with confidence and our assurance that we will continue to provide water service delivery that meets all regulatory requirements.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during the term of this temporary inconvenience.
