Lions Sugarbowl Dog Park
A favorite with our four legged friends, Fort Erie’s first Dog Park is conveniently located in Lions Sugarbowl Park at the corner of Gilmore Road and Central Avenue. Approximately 1 acre in size, the fenced park allows for dogs to play off-lease in grassy and treed parkland of undulating terrain. The park is open dawn to dusk, 7 days per week. Parking is available at the Railway Museum or on Gilmore Road.
Note: Parking at Railway Museum will be limited during the construction of the new Fire Hall
Dog Park Rules:
• Please remember to Stoop and Scoop.
• All dogs must display current dog license and vaccinations tags.
• Please remain in sight and voice control of your dog at all times, within the designated Off-Leash Dog Area.
On-Leash Areas
Pursuant to By-law 135-10, dogs are permitted off-leash in the designated off-leash area of Sugarbowl Park, and on-leash (maximum 6’ length) in Lions Sugarbowl Park, Battle of Ridgeway Park and on the Friendship Trail.
